Montreal singer-songwriter Le Ren—whose real name is Lauren Spear—was predestined to become an artist. Born into a family of musicians, she would fall asleep to the sounds of the biggest names in folk and her parents’ jam sessions with friends. With that being said, it comes as no surprise that her holidays go hand in hand with musical expression, as do her relationships and almost every other aspect of her life. For this folk artist, music is inextricably linked to love.
